He hit 9 greens again today and scored 3 strokes worse. His round on Thursday was smoke and mirrors. He is playing hard. He’s obviously in pain, struggling physically and getting by on guts and guile all of which I admire. I’m not sure what you think my agenda is, I’ve said more disparaging things about Phil Mickelson on this board in the last two weeks than I have about Tiger Woods ever. We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie
