I assumed he’d have an offer in the bag, then click on the portal. I also assumed he viewed this as a necessary step to get to the next level. I was waiting for the announcement to the Razorbacks or the Sun devils on portal day 2.

Perhaps, just guessing, Jasir is looking for a place that will recruit him as a DB or as a DB/nickel hybrid. He may have been told that is his best NFL chance. NDSU has great depth at safety so would be tough to switch positions in Fargo. As Gavin pointed out Eddie George is Head Coach and has his strong NFL connections.
