The political section is closed so this may get deleted ..: but I’m gonna try and explain how that attitude actually makes you the sheep…. What each political party wants is us as Americans to busy fighting with each other over subtle differences which we could overcome if we would sit down and actually talk about it… all the while we are distracted clamoring about the other side they are free to work together on their moneygrab… while placating the masses with talk of liberals and conservatives… sorry you can hate all you want and flame on… but really stop and take a look at what is happening we spend years changing to only spend years changing things back trillions of dollars spent to spin the public and keep them engaged in shenigans …. It’s a awful shame

This is CBS Sports so more national but if true something happened in those just 2 weeks and especially the last game that soured the owner. Wentz was far from the only one who played poorly in that game.

We are hearing a lot of the same things from the local media and my friends' news feeds are ready for him to be gone. Their perception is he wasn't good.

What are the local media saying? I'd trust local media in a small market where everyone is a Colts fan x1,000 more than the ESPN news factory where every thing is a story. Philly media was really no different in their desire to generate clicks, drive agendas, etc.

I have yet to read one negative thing out of anything from Indy.

The idea that the local small market media would be less driven by the desire for clicks seems wrong to me. I’d site opinions on this site about local media as evidence. That said, it’s pretty obvious that the national “insiders” at places like ESPN are shills for the league and transmission lines for whatever ownership/management wants the narrative to be most of the time. They’re interesting and sometimes insightful when it comes to the palace intrigue stuff, just be aware of who their sources are and what their motivations may be. Perhaps the local guys are better at cultivating locker room sources but again the reader should understand the perspective and motivations there as well.

It sure feels like the hate for Carson is disproportionate to his performance, but I do follow him closer than most NFL quarterbacks. I hope he lands somewhere and does well, but if not, there's 100 million reasons I think he will be just fine.
