I think we should all hold Wentz down and make him take it. We are becoming a LAUGHINGSTOCK!
Previous to Delta, vaccines did block the spread. Even with Delta, they block some of the spread. What you are talking about is a breakthrough case, in those cases, viral loads are the same (according to one study, we frankly need much more data). The vaccines are 50-70% good against Delta so that is the amount of transmission stopping.
Spread can be stopped with nasal vaccines that give local immunity in the case of a respiratory virus (they will also come if big pharma allows it). What is more important is even with the current vaccines if almost all adults were vaccinated the R0 would fall well below 1 and stop the spread in a majority of cases. Breakthrough infections come from high viral loads from infected people running around, if there were a lot less sick running around, there would be much less breakthrough.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie
I am very well read on this topic and not from Facebook or CNN or Fox News or whatever political forum you want. I am actual not anti-vax, just saying that if he already had covid (which I don't know if he has) then getting the vaccine to stop against the Delta is really not all that beneficial. Go read the science out of Israel directly. It is all there.

Long for the days of freezing in the south stands of Dacotah Field.
I wonder if Carson is a Conway Twitty fan. I suppose he probably is.
Insert something clever here...
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So, just for fun I wiki'ed Mr. Twitty. Turns out his name was actually Harold Lloyd Jenkins. I can't imagine a guy named Harry singing "Tight Fitting Jeans".

Conclusions This study demonstrated that natural immunity confers longer lasting and stronger protection against infection, symptomatic disease and hospitalization caused by the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2, compared to the BNT162b2 two-dose vaccine-induced immunity. Individuals who were both previously infected with SARS-CoV-2 and given a single dose of the vaccine gained additional protection against the Delta variant.
