It's so hit an miss. For the Nicholls game my 4 year old had to unzip his coat and take off his hat. At homecoming we had both kids, and they asked if the backpack we brought was a diaper bag, and didn't open it.
Some say it's a backward place. Narrow minds on a narrow way, but I make it a point to say. That that's where I come from.
I have realized at most checkpoints including the Fargodome if you unzip your jacket and take off your hat as you get to the metal detector no one blinks and you breeze straight through.
Most of the dome employees would have a heart attack if they knew what happened at Dacotah Field during games in the 70s and 80s!

NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?
I had to remove my baseball cap once this season. Last year they even frisked my lower legs like I was trying to sneak in a flask. I haven't done that since they started frisking people after the infamous press box liquor bottle toss at Ed Schultz. Not that they probably would have said anything about the oranges injected with everclear I used a few times. Before you ask, yes I used a clean needle on the orange.
It's OK to not be OK.
