I think the low point of that thinking was when somebody on this board was highly amused that anybody thought that Carson could start at most FBS schools.
Not all of it is hating though. Here's my theory: growing up, I noticed kind of a defeatist attitude in North Dakota... it was like "don't try too hard / we aren't good enough to compete and it'll just end up in disappointment"... To me, UND always embodied that attitude with their "we are the best university in North Dakota" bleatings. Who the eff, outside of North Dakota, would care about that? Aim higher and show some freaking self-respect or get out of the way! Take a place like New Jersey, kids growing up there almost all know somebody who went on to achieve success or fame in something... and they can then look at those people and think, "Hey, maybe I can too."
I kind of see this attitude with Jackson Hankey. The kid has been playing lights out but somehow he's slow? He's made plays reminiscent of Nick DeLuca v Jacksonville State, and he's still growing as a player. /rant
DeSean Jackson out again. LT Peters is Questionable.
Not Carson-related, but there was some talk of the upcoming Vikings game. Cousins has been struggling more as of late and the Vikes may have considered signing someone Bison fans should be familiar with.
Could Carson be opposite a familiar Bison foe? https://www.yahoo.com/sports/cfl-qua...172728990.html
Love the comments to that article.
I don't think DeSean Jackson is going to play much more this year if at all. Sounds like he has a sports hernia and refused surgery. He'd probably end up aggravating it anyway. The Eagles seem snake bitten buy all these injuries the last few years.
