Old timey candy
Candy cigarettes - tasted like chalk with a little powdered sugar added in. The pink dye on the end was a nice touch. They were so coool!

Things I’ll be watching today include:
- Ram Tough! Do they control the Fighting Hawks front, like I think they will - especially with the return of the legendary FH’s 3-4 defense.
- Speaking of the 3-4 D......Double TE lineups - are they one of the tactics regularly used to impose the Ram’s will upon the Hawks. Always got tired of UND shooting both OLB on run-blitz, with no price to be paid, back in the 90’s. If only the Bison had a couple of 6’ 6” 250 pound mini-Ram TE’s......oh wait......
- Speaking of the TE’s, is Ben Ellefson back this week?
If not, does true freshman TE Travis Yohnke (#40) continue to play?
Even if Ellefson does play, does Yohnke continue to play? Such depth! Soph Austin Avery (#46) played last week, including lining up as the FB.
- Speaking of injury, is Spencer Waege back this week?
If not, where does the pass rush come from. Waege did well at both DE and lining up at DT in obvious passing situations.
- Designed QB runs - which of those do the coaching staff choose as being effective against the Fighting Hawks?
- D totals - Fighting Hawks had 61 yards total offense in 2014. Can they be that anemic again (Bison total domination!)?
They must be improved......read they have 17 starters back so that is what I will be looking for......they certainly handled Drake......
- So even if the score is similar to 2014, Bubba & Co should be improved and maybe have 61 yards per half......
I'm looking forward to seeing progression from our young DE's. Ogbu and Pierce saw plenty of playing time last week, should be more of that today. Justice Kelly has put on muscle and should be hungry for QB flesh.
