Hail the BISON!!!
Well a bit of shock but no one knows what happened!!
Joel Vettel resigned as head of Fargo Parks.

Resigned immediately. Did he do something bad? I think he was good for the program, but
maybe next info will be that they are hugely in debt and your taxes are going to skyrocket for parks.
Not sure why they have discuss the separation agreement.
1. He resigned.
2. Pay him his unused vacation as is required by law and end of story.
3. pay him thru the day he resigned and, and give him cobra...
Looks like maybe he got tired of his phone ringing off the hook, we want this and this and this...
Guess maybe time will tell..
When Vettel didn’t get the police chief gig, and then later applied for and got the parks job, he was very clear about describing it as his “dream job”. Now, just three years later, he suddenly resigns his “dream job”?
Very strange.
Seems to me he realized he might be in over his head, appreciated the opportu ity and the people he worked for but was classy enough to step down.
I could be and probably am dead wrong but that's how I read his quotes.

You could be right, and I hope that’s what it is, but why wouldn’t he just come out and clearly say that then?
And why the tight lips by Papachek and the park board? If it is just as simple as you say it might be, they sure are making it seem more complicated than is necessary.
it was a good ol boy slap on the back Xmas present of a hire at $140k-160k/year , thats all I know. guessing budgets werent met, pressure mounted.
NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?

So why does he get paid until the end of the year? REAL people quit a job and their salary and benefits end.
Beginning to sound like he was going to get a bad review and bugged out to keep it from the public.
Oh well, guess we all need to get public jobs so we can work 2 yrs and get severance...sheesh.
