Anyone ever notice that TSCF and Wisky coach are never in the same place at the same time?
I don't care how the vote ended up. They still suck and always will.

So watched a bit of the MAC championship today, couldn't help but notice how pathetic the crowd was. I bet there weren't more than 8,000 there.

Then I turn on the PAC-12 title game. Maybe 10K in the stands.

    Something's wrong with college football.

Though the latter is fun to watch. Finally some defense.

Playoff expansion hopes may rest on Georgia upsetting Alabama for the SEC title, so go dogs.

It would be nice, but ‘Bama is in no matter what happens today. At least this time, they’re actually playing in the conference Championship Game. Last year and the year they got revenge on LSU, they didn’t make it to the SEC Championship Game, while the team they beat for the National Championship had to play the extra game.

Yes, Bama is in even if they get upset by Georgia. That’s the point. Three of the major conferences get left out in that scenario.

I tried watching the MAC game but couldn't. While it was on, they barely showed the stands - and the stands they showed were empty.

TV networks are taking the "College" out of "College Football." For one thing, their talking heads don't want athletes to be college students. And networks keep moving games to neutral sites or weekday nights (or both.) I think that if they could, networks would move games to giant sound stages with green-screened crowds.

But, hey, as least it looks like bowl games are being revealed for what they are (exhibition games.)
