    Watching the F'n Hawks/ Sammy game. Sammy is starting to look tired. The F'hawkers coaching staff looks like they are dressed to attend a model railroad convention.
    The weather in Fargo keeps the undesirables out.....

    Elon football - contender or pretender?
    We’ll find out this weekend as #9 Elon plays at #2 James Madison.

    Elon is 3-1 on the season.
    Lost to South Florida 34-14
    Beat #21 Furman 45-7
    Beat Charleston Southern 31-22
    Beat New Hampshire 30-9

    While Rice (1-4, 0-1) is not a powerhouse this year, true freshman LB Antonio Montero, from Eden Prairie, is starting.

    Montero was a 2018 NDSU offer, perhaps his 1st choice on the FCS level, but he kept looking for a FBS offer and got his 1st from Rice. Freshman Bison C Joe Schreiber was a teammate of Montero.
