Congrats to Brock and his bride. Was a fantastic mentor to Carson while and NDSU. Could not of asked for a better person to guide Carson through his first 3 years as a Bison.

Seriously, I still can't believe we went from Brock Jensen to Carson Wentz. While the depth charts get rough, convinced Brock would have also started at the P5 level.

Brock Jensen - More wins than any quarterback in FCS history (#48) (Passing yards of 7651, from 2010 - 2014)
(As if you didn't remember that! ) It's just fun to type it again!!!
    Such an incredibly genuine person.
Best wishes to the Mr. & Mrs. B. Jensen.

Brock is a great QB in his own right. He also had a great supporting cast, especially Ryan Smith, Zach Vraa, Marcus Williams, John Crockett, DJ McNorton, Travis Beck, Billy Turner....
" Our strategy for winning against BISON was simple, we put our WRs and RBs in a 1 on 1 situation with their defense in the backfield.....everybody knows they have some freshman who cannot tackle in a 1 on 1 situation.....Joe Glen"

I have no problem throwing out some compliments to Brock here. That kid was fun to watch play. Didn't have the natural size or skill of a Wentz (not many do), but that kid was just a winner. Didn't matter who he played, he got the job done.

Best of luck to the guy.

This is a bummer. Hopefully a different team signs him.

Meh, their QB situation has been screwed for years. E'erbody waiting for Burris to retire then they just stacked up behind him.

He showed enough to get a look elsewhere, CFL is small though.

Being a journeyman in the CFL is very common. Even the biggest stars go from team to team all the time.

It is a strange league because they have to have so many Canadian players on the roster, so signing and releasing is a much different game up there for US players. It also isn't uncommon for a guy to get released one day, see some other roster moves over the next few days, and then get signed back.
