Edit: She might have been Miss Quebec. Not sure but it's one of those French speaking areas. Used to have a signed poster of her.

And miss out on the world famous Terry Redlin Art Mueseum? No way. Any trip to Brookings should also include a trip to beautiful Watertown where right off the interstate you're greeted by one of the largest Walmart's in eastern South Dakota. Keep traveling west on 212 and in just over a mile you can see the old Walmart that sat abandoned for years before being purchased by some farm supply store where you can still see the faded out Walmart letters over the entrance. Do you like cars? Well you're in luck because Watertown has the highest number of car dealerships per capita in northeastern South Dakota and you can find them all on a 5 mile stretch of 212! Make sure you visit the mall which now has at least 3 stores in it. Sure it's down from it's peak of 50, but there's still a fun claw machine in it down by the abandoned K-mart. Where to eat is always a problem when you have 15 mexican restaurants and one Pizza Ranch to choose from. And finish the day with a relaxing stay at the Ramkota, located near the one of 3 trailer parks, on the cities west end. Enjoy a cocktail at the bar were you'll find plenty of opportunities to become a stepdad. If you have a job and most of your original teeth you'll get plenty of attention from one of the many single moms who love trolling the bar for their next romantic encounter. Watertown, South Dakota's Rising Star!
