Makes no sense at all. Travel time will be ridiculous. Shortest conference game would be 240 miles and the longest like 530 or so. Good luck recruiting. Have not heard one person be it a coach or otherwise who is in favor of this.

the only "advantage" they gain by this move is everybody else in the conference is a private religious school as well. other than that....doesn't make sense.

Seriously, didn't Dickinson State flee the old DAC Conference for the supposed greener pastures of the Frontier Conference , only to flee back a couple of years later because of the travel and time spent on the road ? There's an old saying that goes..... "the evil that you know is better than the evil that you don't know..........

Seriously, this falls in line with the whole mentality of Jamestown, they just put a certain spin on things and pretend that it's great. They changed the name to UJ so it sounded bigger and better than plain old Jamestown College. They started calling the airport Jamestown REGIONAL Airport so they can pretend it's bigger, and my favorite, they put a new 20 bed hospital and named it (again) Jamestown REGIONAL Medical Center. Makes them sound bigger than Mayo in Rochester, since Mayo is only a Clinic.

The Mayo has there names on a few hospitals as well. Wait let me reword that. They are a health system.
