SDSU fan forum holding out best case scenario of beating Illinois State
and a getting a top 8 seed, even a top 4 seed.
Top 8 sounds easy in this scenario, would they make the top 4?
Also, if that scenario happens, could all 3 of NDSU, SDSU and
Illinois State be top 8 seeds? If so, then Go Jacks Go!
(I'm assuming all 3 win out on their other games)

That's the problem with ISU's schedule. If they don't beat SDSU, your best win of the year is either the 4th place MVFC team (UNI) or the 1st/2nd/3rd place OVC team (EIU).
SDSU's best win would be ISU, so by default SDSU would be ahead of ISU.
NDSU has SDSU as their best win so they are by default better than SDSU and transitive suggests better than ISU as well.
Some things that would help 3 MVFC teams get a seed would be
EIU beating JSU (decent shot)
The Citadel beating Chatty (long shot)
CAA beating each other up (decent shot)
Big Sky beating each other up (decent shot)
Not sure if we want McNeese or Sam Houston to win
What are the odds of SDSU beating ISUr? I am not going to say they are "due" but I do believe the bunnies can beat them. Its their salad (super) bowl

A nice day where they can air it out and their defense show up and I think they can beat ISUr by 10. Low 50s, light wind, and sunny seems like pretty good football weather. It all comes down to keeping the redturds in check a little bit and if the bunnies can pass the ball effectively. They have played decent defensively against anyone who isn't a 4 time defending national champion or Big 12 team.
The SDSU board earlier today said Vegas started the Jacks
out as 3 pt favorites, and that it then slid back to even money.
I gotta go with ISU in this match-up. Can't believe the Rabbits D
can hold down the Redbirds O. The Wascally Ones may still
alternate QB's too. But go Jacks!
UND has a nice win over PSU, and the selection committee will also look at their win over Wyoming, which will most likely get them in the playoffs if they get 7 wins.
However... In the BigSky, they play 8 of the possible 12 teams every year. This year they really lucked out and are playing most of the teams at the bottom of the standings. Of the 4 teams they don't play, 3 of them are ranked 1st-2nd-4th in the conference. Again, I think they will get in if they win out, but they also have a win over non scholarship Drake.
Wins(in order of impressiveness)
Portland State
Wyoming
Montana State
UC Davis

Gotta root for the Bunnies this weekend. If they beat ISUr and we win out, the Bison and the birdies have the same conference record with us beating SDSU and SDSU beating ISUr. I think it would help us get a higher seed and help us avoid ISUr on the playoff road in Normal. But first thing is first, NDSU has to win the next game.
