If you cant win, its always easier to go with the other team cheated or played dirty.

The last photo has them about a foot away from each other with the shoulder lined up with the number. After watching the video the initial contact is near th waist and then he falls. If you see this as a dirty hit then you are crazy. So instead of looking at how bad your team played point out a play where something unfortunate happened and cry dirty play. Give me a break.

It doesn't look good. Intent or not he was from behind and the side. Basically our guy is defenseless, he should have either pulled up or actually came around so he could cut in front of him. Easy for me to say from a couch but it was just an awful mistake in judgement on his part. Like I said on SS, I was guilty of some dirty stuff when I played and made a fare amount of mistakes so I kind of get it.

I must say I agree with you. But I have never seen anyone chase a player as long as he did to throw attempt a block in the back. He was actually chasing him with no chance for a clean hit.. One of the dumbest things Ive seen in awhile. (on the football field) ( also not including some play calls)

When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.

I will say this once, and it only applies to me, I don't care about how the game ended up as far as this play is concerned. I'm not happy about the result of the game but you could kind of see it coming. I'm really not happy about the result of this play because it was completely avoidable. And we all know if the shoe was on the other foot there would be people losing their shit on this site. So, looking at this play, and only this play, it doesn't look good. It was a mistake by your guy. Let's hope he learns from it as I did from the mistakes I made when I played sports.

And it might be the length of his pesuit of that block that makes some people see intent behind this play. And the whole getting your ass kicked, and the history against NDSU. The last two things shouldn't have an effect on how people view this but we all know better than that.

Nobody is happy with the result of this play. I hope he has a speedy and full recovery.

Just watched it and looked at the pics. Illegal block plain and simple. Whether he had malicious intent or not is pointless speculation. Claims that NDSU plays dirty are ridiculous. NDSU's clean play has really impressed me over this entire run. When was the last time someone even got unsportsmanlike conduct or that kind of nonsense? For a smash mouth style it's actually amazing how clean they play

That was a problem for a while early in the transition, but that got cleaned up several years back and continues to be a point of emphasis. Those kinds of mental mistakes will kill your national championship goals if you don't keep that under control, just ask Georgia Southern.
