So they are taxed and get nothing for it. Additionally on the flip side students will say there is more than 4,000 demand for tickets. I do agree it sucks for students that don't use the athletic tickets. That being said, I never go to the Union and use any of the services that they offer through student fees there. There are people who never go to the wellness center, but they don't get their money back. The athletic fans who are students, students who use the union and students who use the Wellness Center all benefit from everyone contributing a little bit instead of some paying through the nose. Not trying to be argumentative but in my opinion it's for the benefit of the non-hermit student.
