I posted this in another attendance thread but thought I'd throw it up here too.

Since the tickets are likely only being sold to people who will be able to attend on Saturday (not the usual hundreds of no shows), you have to assume the attendance will be lower than what is usually reported. Factor in the holiday weekend with many fans unable to attend that will also hurt.

I think anything over 14,000 would be great attendance for this game.

The first round playoff games are usually pretty poorly attended due to it falling on a holiday weekend. Here is a look at last years first round attendance compared to the average attendance in 2009 for the host schools (and percent of average).
