Professional lacrosse is growing slowly but that is by plan.(Are not following other sports leagues like soccer in 70's who grew to fast) and You would probably see over 100 DI schools on men's side but not for Title IX. In spring college lacrosse is on ESPN family of networks and CBS sports network and they carry every playoff game. Championship weekend is usually in Philly or Baltimore at NFL Stadium and usually draw 35k to 40k for both semi and final.. You can really see growth in college game as a lot of mid major schools are now competing and beating the big schools like Duke, Virginia, John Hopkins etc as they can get players in the public schools where most States are sanctioning it as Varsity sport. North Dakota,South Dakota, Wyoming and Alaska are only states without sanctioned lacrosse.
