I wonder if Mike from Sioux Falls knows? I mean, he now knows there will be a ticket for him when he gets ALL THE WAY to Fargo.

I was there last weekend. This is highly dependent on the game...... There was basically nothing for Montana.

I have to say this though, since this "student-football-fan" debate is nationwide now. Some schools have opened up their student sections to non-students already. Similar to Bisonfanettes idea, put the non-students "above" the students, schools have done this and had some complaints, by those "new" fans.
Saying that those students are too rowdy!

Those students never sit down!

Those students say obnoxious things!

So, NDSU can expect someone, at some point to bitch!

When UN_ first opened the New Englstad, they had major issues as where to place the students. And people bitched(at a freaking hockey game) that the students stood the whole time???

So you folks getting a ticket above the students...this aint church!!!

I do find it interesting how people my age complain about students now and how they leave the game early. It was the same way when I was a student and older fans complained about my generation the same way...how we had no work ethic, blah, blah, blah. I always stayed for the whole game as did most of the students in the first 10 rows or so. A lot of the rest cleared out. I'm sure the current students are just as good as previous generations.

I do have to say, I'm glad these are the problems we have to be "concerned" about.

When we lived across from the BSA, we always left at halftime so we could party more, just the way it was.

We used to get in line at around noon to maybe 2pm for a 7 pm game...no way I would leave at half-time after waiting that long. Besides, we smuggled in enough refreshments to make it through. By the time the game ended we hit frat parties.
