So what's the big deal?? He, along with others, got bored with the game. Same with the other 4 home games this year. Do you play madden on rookie, and play as the Seahawks vs the Vikings? That's what this is starting to become. Repetitive beatdowns. Some people don't like watching it.

I admit that after NDSU gets up 17+, the other team doesn't have more than 30 yards of total offense closing in on half, I stop yelling, standing... etc. NDSU is too good for these guys. Some of us see it and want to move on...some like to watch the same song and dance week after week, then think those of us are being critical of NDSU. LOL

Whats wrong with loving NDSU, but not necessarily liking the situation they're in? or do you have to love NDSU and then love everything they decide to do? there's nothing wrong with Chapo going to continue the party at a different(established) venue.

I am not a fan of removing seats from the student section. These are the future Team Makers, after all.

I do think improvements can be made. I feel we need to implement a Priority Points system for the students. They could be called something like "Bison Pride Points". These points could be used in many useful ways.

First: Reward for Loyalty. You get x points for attending a game. You get x points for each year as a student. You get x points for each hour of volunteer work. On and on and on.

Second: Ticket Distribution. Tickets are distributed in a manner where those with the highest points get first crack at them. Monday morning during the first hour you need to be in the highest tier of points to have access to tickets and on down the line.

Third: Seat Allocation. I think the single long line for students is a pain in the ass and a deterrent for some students. This could be improved by queuing up the students based on Bison Pride Points. Have multiple queue lines based on Bison Pride Points. Those with higher points, get in first...and on down the line.

Finally: Priority Points for the Future. At graduation your Bison Pride Points are converted to Team Maker Priority Points based on some conversion factor. I think this is one of the best parts. Your dedication pays off with a higher chance of getting season tickets if you want them.

A system like this won't solve low student turnout or staying the whole game, but it would be a good way to reward the students that care.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over yet expecting different results.

As far as non students...if its so boring, why go? Why not sell your tickets each week? That way you don't have to put yourself through the agony of going to a bison game every week AND you you can still keep your seats for when potential changes you may want are made in the future. AND we don't have to listen to you "contribute (the same thing) to the conversation"....every week.

IF IF IF the students don't request all of their seats?

They did Fri AM, sections 10-12 AA and above were GA. Most of those fans also filled in the middle rows of said sections once it appeared the students wouldn't be arriving.

If students didn't claim there seats by the end of Tues they went on sale to the general public.
