Bison fans are spoiled. Students, alumni, and everyone else are spoiled with what this program has accomplished in the past four years. Every week there has to be something to complain about on this site. Sure it wasn't the greatest showing by students, but there were plenty of empty seats in the reserved sections too. The student tickets were cut off on Tuesday and "sold" to the public later on this week. It obviously wasn't taken advantage of.

As far as students being bored with winning in blowouts every week, it definitely is a factor for attendance. For the average student, it's hard to get excited to see a 34-3 blowout at the end of the 3rd quarter. And honestly there's nothing to deter people from expecting blowouts every week. That is how good this program has gotten compared to its peers.

In reality, 99% of FCS teams would kill for our student section and fans in general. Complaining about 500 empty seats total for one game is a very minor issue compared to many other programs across the country. Enjoy what this program is doing right now. It's unprecedented and is very rare for any level of football. Don't take it for granted.

I don't know if you realize you love your college until you've been out in the real world for a while.

My friends and experiences at NDSU are extremely important to me, and my wife.

Today was a tough game to make work. The farmers are in the middle of corn or soys. Construction is crunch time. Hunters are prime time pheasants. High school kids had their own final football and volleyball games.

The college kids need to keep the party going and that's tough in a blowout.

We are spoiled in that we expect to get 4 playoff games that are sudden death, more exciting and at a time it's far easier to make work.

Haha. We students energize the dome, unlike you team makers that sit on your lazy asses on 1st and 2nd down. We stand every single down on every defensive stand, hell, even on offensive possessions. If it weren't for us students, our stadium would be equivalent to UNDs stadium on 1st and 2nd down. So yeah, I'm gonna now call out on you lazy team makers that give the students shit on not showing up, when you guys sit and sip on your pop and eat your popcorn while the students yell on first and second. Bring it. Prove me wrong vs. SDSU.

As a student and a team maker... I think I win. All of your arguments are invalid.

Students need to have 1k less seats or at least the new endzone section given back to those that wants tickets.

Ashley is right. 500 less students trumps the 5000+ blue hairs that don't even stand on 3rd downs. Heck some of them have had 40 yard line tickets for 25 years for fave value no donation when there are big knockers that want to donate $5000+ and is told there is no seats for them.
