Well since most of you believe you are better fundraisers than Gene Taylor, I say get out there and do it. Go raise the money needed for a new stadium. Go raise the scholarship money to afford 44 more scholarships a year. Go raise the money to pay our coaches more. Oh, and by the way, you need to do the last two year after year after year. We just struggled for years to raise $40 million with an amazing AD, so what makes you think this would be so easy? And the money is just a minor part of a move up. But go ahead and show us how it's done since it is so easy.

I am so sick of the Bison already. Win this, win that, blah, blah, blah. I'd really, really like to know how they do it. I swear they have to be the luckiest sob's on the planet. Just sick of this bs, just fed up.

In the past five years Boise has beaten Georgia, Virginia Tech, Washington, Arizona State, Oregon State, Utah, Oregon....are we really going to debate this?

Yeah I would take their record in a second it is very good. Boise plays good or great BCS teams most of the time as well.

Anti-FBS crowders...there is a huge number of schools you can use to say going FBS is bad...heck one of those schools is in the same state as Boise. With that said trying to run down what Boise has done will get you nowhere.

Truth. Boise is a horrible example. No Damn way do we have a chance to be anything CLOSE to what Boise has done.

Their resources dwarf ours. It's really a stupid discussion. The proof of the depths of our pockets is staring us right in the face. It's called the SHAC and the fact that its simply a remodel and took forever to fund is glaring.

I don't think Boise has way more resources than we do, especially not when they were starting out and cutting their teeth at the FBS level. They just have a stadium that can be expanded at a significantly lower cost. Their success has allowed them to continue to fill their growing stadium. Unfortunately we don't have that same luxury, we have to build a completely new stadium and yeah that is a huge issue.

There are two bridges to cross before this debate has any merit. If these two needs get addressed, the move up could be considered. It would make more sense to be working at resolving these needs than arguing.

1: Get a conference invite for all sports lined up.

    2: Show me the money.

Right now, I don't oppose moving. I don't support moving. I simply want the proponents to provide a business case rather than attempting to spend other people's money. Carry on.

You forgot to mention that OUR new stadium must have a roof. Period.

Don't forget the money to add women's programs to meet title 9
    ..

But the 40 million taking forever would have been done along time ago hadn't we wasted our time with the Fargodome addition that happened at the peak of the recession. We changed plans too often

Because you care, Colorado St. (8-6) defeated Washington St. (6-7) in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl.

Boise 43 million, NDSU 16.8 million
We are a long way away from them. 30 million would take a minor miracle and we would need help from the state and some sort of TV deal
We could get into the lower 20s with our current resources but we tend to stretch our dollars further. Basketball is the only way to raise that kind of money
