And, UNI had a incredible class last year (I don't know about SIU). UNI had a ton of 2-star recruits and beat NDSU for two of the top gets in MN (Jackson and Sauer). I think you are right, the pressure was on Bohl and his staff to step it up a notch.

But i believe that, atleast this year, they did a wonderful job. (NDSU's coaching staff that is)

I have a feeling that USD will pass SDSU in recruiting in a couple years

You know, I think I agree with you. They are doing a very good job at getting some recruits to come there.

Maybe Homeland Security raised the terror alert back to orange and these kids feel safer knowing that they'll be spending a lot of time in that giant bomb shelter that they call the Dakota Dome.

There may be another Defensive end coming into NDSU. Danny Lueke from Fargo South made th decision between augustana and NDSU. Chose NDSU

My wish list for the 2009 team is for help at MLB. Henry is fragile, Beeson a bit small I think, and actually better a better fit at OLB along with Evans (my opinion). Anybody remember Dillon Forbes who was recruited out of WI in 07 along with Beeson? He was actually rated higher than Beeson by some (#12 vs 24):

He enrolled at Harper College in IL, they actually beat NDSCS this year and it looks like Dillon had a pretty good year. At 6'1" and 240 lbs, I think he has the size.

If he is the JUCO visiting this weekend, I'm all for it, I think we could use the depth at that spot.

That would be pretty cool to see a former recruit come back to Fargo.
