After reviewing the classes that UND, SDSU, and NDSU has put together (this is not smack, so just relax), it is almost unfair that we are going to compete against these schools. The gap is getting WIDE!!!! I know, we lost to SDSU last year...trust me, I remember. However, NDSU has put together an absolutely silly class this year. Defensively, we are amazing. Added a WR from MN who is special, a QB from San Diego, a batch of linebackers and DB's with speed. Plus a nasty O-lineman who with another inch would be in teh big 10. Never have we received 2 star talents (rivals) like we have this year. Congrats to the staff on putting this together. I can't wait until Wednesday when it is finalized. The part I get nervous about is that when Bohl leaves (hopefully down the road), we potentially lose his biggest asset....his CONNECTIONS! Our class is NATIONWIDE. We get the local kids we need, and branch out from there. He has been consistent with that message since he got here. I do not think he has lost a ND recruit that he has wanted yet. Assuming equal offers were given. I am sure a UND fan will disagree, just going off what I know.

Still shocked nobody is really talking about the kid that SIU (Lennon) took from UND. I thought that would get more interest. In my studies, he was a VERY good signing for UND and that will hurt them. Their other best recruit went to Northern Illinios. Not sure why they have had so many kids verbal, then basically re-verbal to Mussman after he took the job, and then weeks later they lose 4-5 of them to other schools.....one being us. Punter from Minneapolis. Recruiting is just a blast to follow.

Totally agree - this could be the best recruiting class NDSU has ever put together on the defensive side of the ball.

Interesting comments Burgandy. From the way things are going for UND their transition may be much more difficult than they thought. As for SDSU I am always surprised how well they do each season given their moderate support and moderate past success. Recently they have done well against NDSU and I see them as being a bigger threat in the next 5 to 7 years as compared to UND. SDSU is starting to get more money for football and somehow they are getting some pretty good recruits. I should go over to the Jacks site and see who they have recruited this year. Maybe not as well as NDSU, but I bet they did pretty good. I seem to remember they got a bunch of kids from Wisconsin too. Some chose SDSU over NDSU. Any Rabbit posters want to comment?

I can't wait to look at their films on Wednesday night. Comparing their quarterback to our quarterback is unfair....we haven't seen enough film. Or any film.

The speedster from Michigan was offered a fully to run track at THE Ohio State University....but chose us to play football! Impressive.
