    Default Recruiting

Haven't been paying as close attention to NDSU wrestling this year and even less so to the recruiting. Below is what I'm tracking.

The 2025 class is the lowest ranked recruiting class I can remember in the D1 era with the vast majority of the class already committed, so maybe they target better portal guys this offseason. Current team is young, so they won't lose much at all to graduation. I've heard that while Ward is verbally committed to NDSU, it is far from a sure thing he goes to NDSU.

    Commits
    2025
UR Lawson Eller New Prague MN 125
UR Brayden Canoyer Waverly NE 149
UR Javier Berg Chatfield MN 125
UR Luke Hoag Hutchinson MN 165
UR Gabriel Gallardo Sahuarita AZ 157
UR Devon Harrison Liberty MO 133
#249 Brandon Dean Colorado Springs CO 157

    2026
#124 William Ward Moorhead (Formerly Fargo North) MN HWT

    Interests
    2025

    2026
UR Wyatt Kosidowski Fargo ND 184
UR Brady Collins Burlington WI 174
UR Kyle Scott Tyrone PA 197
UR Preston Wagner Fremont NE HWT
#138 Nic Enzminger Bismarck ND 133
#164 Austin Collins Wray CO 133

Kaden Nicolas from Becker MN ranks #83 nationally in the 2025 class and is signed to Augustana. Would've been great to add him.

NDSU has added a commitment to the 2025 class in unranked Ben Schultz of Maple Grove MN. Projects at 197 and is looking for his first state title this year. Better Greco results than Freestyle

I hope we can get the wrestling training facility built because it's needed, like yesterday. Maybe it will inject some momentum into recruiting

NDSU got a commitment from Zytavius Williams out of Eden Prairie yesterday. He's a two time state champ and a 2026 addition that projects at 133/141.

I like this pick up. Very athletic kid. Somewhat raw but the kind of high upside guy the BiZon need to get.
Bison fans are blessed. Enjoy it.

NDSU picked up another commitment for the 2025 class, with Peyton Cox out of Illinois committing. He's ranked #250 in the final class rankings, which gives NDSU 2 guys in the top 250 with Brandon Dean finishing at #233.

Intermat published their recruiting class rankings recap from 2021-2024. They list by year their top 25 plus five Honorable Mention spots. I’m not sure how they list the five HM spots but it’s not alphabetically so to me it would make sense just to do a top 30 but oh well. Sounds like 2025 will be released soon.

Wrestlestat recently updated the BiZon Roster for the upcoming season. Triston Daugherty has been added back to the roster at 125. Looks like he somehow secured another year. Ezekiel Witt is listed as the starter at 125. Not sure either of these two are big enough to bump up to 133 where Peyton Moore is listed as the starter.
Bison fans are blessed. Enjoy it.
