Darn it. He reminds me a lot of another central Wisconsin kid that flew under the radar, Jared Abbrederis. I think he walked on at Wisconsin and ended up their all-time receptions leader.
Schaffer is a really similar player/athlete but I think the cat is out of the bag on him now.

I was mistaken on the Washington State offer, that went to a big OL from Janesville the Bison had previously offered.

A liittle bit before that, 2010-2013 I think. Played with Russel Wilson for a season.
