If I as a Griz fan am sick of reading this stuff on Bisonville, I can only imagine what you guys feel like.

It's really fucking funny and really really sad that other teams just don't shut up, lose big and quit looking like asshats every year.........but the cat have that little brother thing going on so...........NDSU gets what it's like when dealing with UND and its the same thing here. "Better start lifting weights"

I've always been amused with how fast NDSU's opponents are going to be.....and then, the actually game is played and the super hero fast opponents turn out to be fairly mortal. Either that, or NDSU isn't too shabby on the speed themselves.

I understand why teams do this sort of thing, because frankly sometimes a team has to do whatever it can do to get a W against the Bison. However, this drives me nuts as a football fan when I see teams try this stuff too early in a game. I'm a believer in field position, and when you play the Bison, sometimes the field position battle is a big deal. Don't get cute and try a fake punt when it's the 2nd quarter and you're on your own 30. Or going for a 4th & 2 from midfield early in the game. To me, it's like a white flag is getting waved already. Stick to your plan, play field position, hope for a bounce to go your way.

I was trying to remember the last time the Bison have had to do some kind of a trick play and the one that came to mind was Smith's end around against the Jackrabbits.

I don't know that I'd put that play in the had to run category. That game was won handily. I'd go back to the 2011 Championship game and go with the fake punt there in the category of had to run trick play.

This is where I'm at too. Every playoff game for the past 8 years has been opponents saying how good X player is and why we haven't seen anyone like it before and that it is why they'll beat us. Then they get mad when we don't give them the proper respect. And then we beat them. One team in 8 years has been able to put their money where their mouth is. Yet we're the bad guys.

Mckinnon is up there with woffords Breitenstein,Goedert/Weineke and David Johnson in players where i thought ndsus D was outmatched against.


If TA even comes close to this tier..ill be surprised.

There are actually some very rational posters on the Cat board and then you run into things like this several times:

"I think that we can confidently say NDSU DOES NOT want to play us Saturday...to me that is a huge testament to how this team has come together and is playing."

Its bad. Especially with sam houston fans. But they calmed down after the 3rd beatdown in Fargo...then last yr we saw pretty much none of it for the semis. "A few playmakers on the outside
" to make us think but they lost by 45 and all was forgotten
