Gotta admit, I didn't know who Coach Ziegler was when I first read this, but I bet Bison baseball fans and players do (that's why it's not moved to "news about other schools").

For the record, he was the baseball coach at UND - and the only coach there who was willing to schedule NDSU during the transition.

If you dont know who Kelvin Ziegler is then I have no respect for those that call themselves supporters of "ALL" Bison sports. Ziegler was baseball's answer to Gene Roebuck, and Roger Thomas. A coach who complained about anything and everything. Too bad for several of their top pitchers who never got to get an opportunity at the professional ranks because he over worked them and blew their arms out. The way Mike Rerick, Matt Mahoney and JJ Skeving were treated forcing Tommy John surgery was terrible.
