    Default A softball signing (junior)

    Brea Konz from Sioux Falls.

Kind of interesting that the women's sports are the ones picking up commitments from juniors.

Early commitments are the trend in softball now. It is not surprising that NDSU would get one from a local prospect. With future competition in a real conference and the possibility of attending an NCCA regional, it is good to see the commitment from the coaching staff to build a solid program.

NDSU recently made the jump from DII to DI and will compete at the DI level starting in 2007.
Is it frustrating to anyone else to continue to see this type of thing in articles?

2008 seems to be getting closer at snail's pace though. Can't wait to be playoff eligible.

:Recently?? Yes, frustrating as these athletes have been competing at the DI level for 2 seasons. Afterall, last season they had more Big 10 wins than Minnesota, 2!
