    Default 2008 Mid-Con Schedule

I noticed that the baseball schedules were up for the 2008 season. *Here is the link:

    http://www.mid-con.com/future/08_baseball.pdf

    April 4-6 @ Oral Roberts
    April 11-13 Southern Utah
    April 19-20 @ IPFW
    April 25-27 Oakland
    May 2-4 @ Centenary
    May 9-11 @ Western Illinios
    May 15-17 South Dakota State
Mid-Con Tourney 22-24 @TBA (NDSU & SDSU are not eligible for the tourney)

It appears they Mid-Con has just one series for the year against conference members. *UMKC and IUPUI do not have baseball. *

Any chance the tourney would be in Fargo? From what I have read it is one of the better stadiums in the league, no home team advantage...

You guys may have a shot at that in the future. I think Tulsa has the baseball tournament for the next few years, and is always a very attractive location because it is closer to us Southerners who like baseball more (on the average). ORU has a great stadium, and has been used all but one year in the last 9-10 years to my knowledge (Centenary the other time, which was not as profitable as Tulsa has been).

Thats common in college baseball. MVC and Big 12 is the same way.
