Ryun Godfrey has himself set for the future of Bison women's track. NDSU won the women's Independent Outdoor meet 262-134 over next closest finisher UC Davis. And the Bison did it with frosh.

    Today:

FR Halley Odegarrd edged FR Dee Rae Honl to win the highjump.
FR Katie Seltvedt beat led a top 3 NDSU FROSH finish in the Shot.
The ALL-FROSH 4x400 team took first place.
FR Heather Zander tied for 1st in the 200.
FR Nora Narlch tied for first in the 800
FR Laura Hermanson took 1st in the 400 while FR Anne Zmyslinski took 3.
SR Alicia Minderman won the long jump but 3 NDSU FROSH pointed in the event.

Mindermann was named the outstanding field events person.

The NDSU Men also defeated UC-Davis to win the meet.

"With a group of 17 student-athletes, 12 of whom are either true freshmen or redshirt freshmen, the Bison gathered a tally of 262 points to runner-up and defending team champion UC Davis’ 134. NDSU claimed seven individual titles on Saturday for a total of 11 individual victories." ;D
