Some tough games but it will be fun to see NDSU matchup against some real competition.

Playing in Albequerque is a challenge for any team due to the altitude. The Gophers lose McCarville but Jamie Broback has emerged as a real star for this team in the paint. They also have an experienced point guard in Shannon Schonrock. Middle Tennessee lost at home to SDSU this year but still made the NCAAs and open with NC State (last year, the Blue Raiders knocked off UNC). UW Greenbay smacked SDSU but they graduate their two leading scorers.

Looks like the Bison need to give Coach Johnston a call and thank his team for playing all those Division 1 road games this past season. *It not only gave us return dates but Coach Ruley got some home games out of it as well. *Can she return the favor?

I'm sure we are working together. I bet you get some of the teams we get at home next season from road games this season.

Last night WDAY6 sports reported the NCAA has informed NDSU women's coach Amy Ruley that the Bison will be eligible for the NIT post season tournament beginning next season. This decision was based on NDSU's schedule that meets the full compliment of required DI games.

Is there any possible way we could ever qualify for the NIT this yr?

Does having the NIT as a goal help overcome the lack of a conference?

    Are the men eligable too?

By next season do you mean 2005-06 or 2006-07?
