dOES SOME SCHOOL IN THIS STATE NEED A NEW LOGO TO BE ON THE PLATES?

UND won't be changing its logo for quite a while. There are 2 chippewa tribal chairmen who have already stated that they support UND's use of the logo, if anything UND will change to the fighting chippewas.

Like the NCAA would approve that name change. Wouldn't change a thing no playoffs and no uniforms with the nickname on it. Flickertails it is.

The NDSU Alumni Website says that only 38 people have ordered the plates. I hope they get enough orders to go ahead with production.

I think that there's a reason that UND didn't pursue plates and that reason has something to do with NCAA.

I saw that earlier today. I was waiting for the correction.

I'm considering emailing that State and informing them that I find the UND plates 'hurtful and offensive'.

Kind of a risky move considering UND will lose their appeal with the NCAA. If they change their logo to host playoff games does the school (aka taxpayers) end up buy the new plates? ???

Naw, the NCAA isn't going to make UND change its mascot. All they are going to do is not let them host NCAA championship events. The NCAA doesn't have the power to tell the State what it can and can't do, nor can it tell individuals what the can and can't do, outside of very specific situations.
