    Default Minnesota Preps

Just picked up a copy of Minnesota Basketball News. *Bison recruit Ben Woodside in on the Preseason first team. *MBN "Best all-around guard in the State". *Tom Lunde is in the top 100. *MBN "Can dominate at both ends of the floor".

The inside cover also has a half page ad for Greg McDermott basketball camps at Northern Iowa.

What are they putting in the water in the water in Western Minnesota. Lunde is 6'10" and D-G-F had a guy 6'11". When I was in high school in the early 90's if you had a guy 6'6" you were doing pretty good.

Another Minnesota top 10 player is being recruited by NDSU. Winkelman is 6-5, and also plays football:

Lunde sounds like a pretty interesing prospect with all that height. Height is height and that can't be learned....

~anyone know if these guys will be redshirting...I heard somewhere that all freshman next year will redshirt in hopes of the tourna, ment ban being reduced and them having the chance to play their senior year....

I don't think Lunde and Woodside will be able to redshirt based on team need. Coefield, Nemmers, May, Banks, Witt all gone, so the point is there to be taken for sure.

I agree about Woodside, but we may have the luxury of redshirting Lunde since Erbes, Kelchen and the Green boys will be returning. It will be real interesting to see if Woodside can handle the point as a true freshman.
