CNN/SI and ESPN sites....

I was just curious on these sites and the pages they would have set up for NDSU and SDSU, but on CNN/SI's site, there is nothing for NDSU or SDSU in basketball...and ESPN had SDSU but no NDSU.

Anyone know why this is? *Has anyone else noticed this?

They probably just haven't thought about it. There is an NDSU web page on ESPN, actually. You can get at it from the GWFC page. NDSU, however, is not listed under the D-I independents when you look under basketball.

I'm sure it's an oversight. Anyone have any contacts in the athletic department at NDSU? I'm sure if the AD were to make a phone call to ESPN, this would get cleared up quickly. It's almost certainally an oversight, but sometimes people need a kick from someone with a little clout to get them to fix something.

I think it may have to do with the fact the NDSU is considered a D1 team in its tranition year. This years scedule is half D1 and half D2. I am sure next year NDSU will be on all the websites and magizines as a full fledged D1 member.
