This guy deserves a ton of credit for making NDSU a top-notch university. Before him, NDSU followed the typical North Dakota "everything is fine the way it is" and "there is no way we can do that" mentality. Now, these are two phrases that are in no way associated with NDSU. The city of Fargo and the state of ND have also benefitted from his leadership. I am looking forward to his state of the university address this Thursday. He will be unveiling his NEW 5-year plan. Three requests for Dr. Chapman: (1) Please stay at NDSU for at least 10 more years to oversee the growth of our educational/research programs, and (2) Work your magic to upgrade the infrastructure of our athletic facilities, and (3) get us into the Big Sky.

I wonder what kind of rabbit President Chapman found? You'd think it would be pretty rare to find new species of anything that big.

Joe Chapman is such an incredible leader and an asset to the State of North Dakota. His leadership is visionary and is taking NDSU and the State to new levels of excellence.
