Wichita State may get football back??

Near where I live, Wichita State lost its football program after the 1986 season. There is Kansas state legislation to set up the fund to bring the Shocker program.

I would guess that WSU if the program is reinstated would join the Gateway Conference with the other Missouri Valley football playing schools.

I would love to see WSU with a football team again. Wichita is part of the territory that I cover. Reading the article, only reinforced my belief that it is a long ways away.
