This is a pretty cool site if you're into history, college football history in this case. We're still listed as a DII team in the index but they do have the Great West Football Conference in there under I-AA conferences, and there's a link to our page there too. All I can say is that the 50's would have been a very hard time to be a Bison football fan. In 1957 we managed to score 32 points in 8 games.

I've used that site a lot - especially when trying to figure out what teams belong to which conferences.

I notice that he has the scores of every game played for UC Davis, UNC, SDSU, and NDSU. That's pretty cool. THere's a lot of information there.

In 1957 I think NDSU only had 2 full time coaches.
I could be wrong but I believe all the other coaches
were grad assistants.
