Remember that time he got suspended for kicking out the window at the dining hall at msum? My signature does. Love that dude.

Alan Burrell was on that team too. They didn't have a QB that could throw to them. Two of the fastest receivers in Bison history and probably the country...both ran 10.3 100m.

All you heard was Lamar racking up the yards.

Chea, Burrell ran that sweet 10.22.

People must have forgotten the Babich playbook-
    1st down- Lamar iso
    2nd down- Lamar iso
3rd and less than 10- Lamar iso
3rd and 10 or more- have Johnson or Burrell run as fast as they can downfield to get open, only to have the ball over or underthrown.

Unless it was against UND. Then he only got 2 yards a carry.

Considering Burrell and Lamar were never on the team at the same time and Marques was redshirted in 2001, I doubt it went down that way under Babich.

FFS I can barely remember what I had for breakfast this morning, let alone a roster from 10+ years ago.

    Richard Lewis, maybe?

No Bisonguy is correct. Babich's playbook was to literally have 2 guys not on roster run as fast as they can down field. Even if they were eligible, they were never open and where always over or underthrown.

One of the best catches I ever saw in the Fargodome, Johnson's one-handed grab for a TD. Must have been 2004 or 05 season. Had endzone tickets at the time, and it looked amazing. Can't remember if Staus or Walker was the QB.
