Coach St. Clair has 3 guys (Huskers) in those finals. All of them with qualifying throws over 250' !!
NDSU's national presence in all of the throwing events (men & women) has dwindled to almost nil since his departure.
Hope Sam can get another PR in Eugene.

Just was watching the women's 3000 m steeple chase on ESPN. ESPN just showed the men's team totals ; it had NDSU in like 7th or 8th place with 60 points.

Sam Roller won the Elite 90 award for Men's T&F. NDSU has won 21 of them (which is good.)

Sam Roller Named Outdoor Track & Field NCAA Elite 90 Award Winner - NDSU

It's going to be Elite 91 as soon as Women's Wrestling becomes a recognized sport.

They were trying to list all of the sports at one of the baseball regionals. It turns out the 90 are not sports or titles they are separate championship events so if women’s wresting is held as a part of the existing championship tournament I think the count would still be 90. Unless they issue two elite 90 awards based on gender at track and field and other mixed gender championship events. I don’t know one way or the other. This is just a long way of saying I came away from the baseball broadcast more confused about how they count to 90 and I haven’t seen a satisfactory explanation since.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie
