I’m not familiar how the process would work….but if SDSU were to win out, USD were to win out ( meaning they knock off NDSU during the last game of the season) and NDSU were to win out with the exception of the USD game….who wins the MVFC?

MVFC does co-champions but there is also tie breaker criteria for NCAA auto bid.
Not sure if this is still valid:
TWO TEAMS ARE TIED
1. In there is a two-team tie following the round-robin results and the two tied teams played each other, the winner of the game will be declared champion.
2. If the tied teams did not play each other, then each team’s record against all common opponents in the league will be used to determine the automatic bid.
3. If the teams are still tied, then each team’s record against the next highest common opponent in the league standings will be used to determine the automatic bid.
4. If the teams are still tied, the latest available GPI ranking prior to NCAA selection shall be used as the final tiebreaker.
THREE TEAMS ARE TIED
1. If at any point, a tie is broken using the multiple-tie tiebreaker procedures and only two teams remain, the remaining teams will revert to the two-way tiebreaker (head-to-head).
2. If the tied teams all played one another, the team with the best cumulative record involving games with the tied teams shall be declared champion. For example, if a team is 2-0 against two other tied teams, that team will be declared champion.
3. If the tied teams all played one another and have identical records against the other tied teams, then each team’s record against all common opponent s in the league will be used to determine the automatic bid. If teams are still tied, then each team’s record against the next highest common opponent in the league standings will be used to determine the automatic bid.

Found this on the MVFC website, as I was curious myself.... https://valley-football.org/news/201...?path=football

First tiebreaker should be whoever beat Murray by the most, wins. Or maybe most consecutive blocked punts is conference champ.
North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.Bob Lutz, The Wichita Eagle, August 30th, 2013
I'm pretty sure the team with the most Gateway(tm) conference banners hanging on their garage door gets the bid in the case.
The rise of Skeletor.
Suppose here is the better question…
Assuming Montana State were to win out and NDSU drops a close one on the road to USD.
How the hell do you rank NDSU, SDSU and USD for the playoffs?
An answer for that, too...NCAA announced this morning that they are not using Media Polls any longer when determining seeds...basically it sounds like they're going off of a combination of the following, if I understood it correctly: KPI, Massey Ratings, and the ESPN Football Power Index. Currently, the Massey is NDSU, SDSU, Montana St., and USD, 1-4, while the KPI has NDSU #1, SDSU #5, Montana St #6, and USD #11. Long story short, if the scenario you laid out above happens, it's going to be a giant shit storm.
