That's not the first time they've done something like that either.
Anyway, I came to mention that there was a time game yesterday in a D2 game (Clark Atlanta vs Florida Memorial.) They called this game in the third quarter because they were in a thunderstorm that was not going to let up in a timely fashion.
I don't think I've seen a tie college football game since I started collecting scores for the "fan guide" (I'll know for certain when I do a little data cleanup today.) In 1995, there were 37 tie games and I suspect that an inordinate amount of them occurred in the CAA/northeast. I have no idea why, but I had a feeling that going for the win was frowned upon in conferences that wanted 4+ teams in the playoffs.
Fargo Shanley alum Emmett Kenney walked it off for Stanford last night with a 39 yard FG vs. Syracuse.
He's 8/8 on field goals and 10/10 on PATs this season.

Alabama is losing to Vandy at the end of the 3rd quarter 30-28. Should Alabama drop from the 1 spot? If not why not?
