That opens the question of players getting paid by OUR collective then bolting. That clearly needs to be looked over. Might be some legality questions with that coming up.

Unless it’s some form of contract nothing is going to happen. Best thing that could happen is some east coast athletes decide a union is the best way moving forward. That will allow for a contract to be signed for NIL cash.

If its big enough they will leave. Just like when you were working. If some company came along and offered you double of what you were making plus benefits you would have been gone also.

Jay has spoken about having to be on the roster after critical dates to get payment for that time period. Otherwise, the payment is not made. As PL said, if another NIL waives huge money, not sure what he is supposed to do.....the NDSU money will mean very little at that point.

In my mind, the Green and Gold collective is making these kids be more thoughtful about leaving. They are going to want a "sure thing" to leave at this point. I very much suspect that is the case, here.
