Funny how the landscape has changed. 10 years ago, if Richman were bringing in a D2 kid, most of the comments about him would’ve been posted in the beloved “Is Dave running this program into the ground?” thread and people would’ve been dismayed that a scholarship was going to a D2 kid.

I’m sure people will say, “That’s not accurate, we definitely would’ve wanted someone with his accolades, etc.”, but as a guy who was consistently defending the D2 side of the world on here for years, I’m pretty confident in that assessment.

Moni is definitely talented. Bummer to see so many good NSIC players jumping to the low D1 level, but it’s the way things are now. In Augie’s case, we lost several to other D2s due to the coaching change, but none to the D1s (yet). Other than Plitzuweit to USD a few years ago. Would’ve been nice to keep him.

Moni was a big get, we'll get to run 2 bigs at the same time again with Moni & Feddersen likely starting and Burke and the incoming freshman Andersen backing them up. Now what we really need is a longer athletic wing player. Need a Trayvonn, Braun, Ward type of guy. Geu & Harden-Hayes both could've been that player but Dave ran them off, that'd be number one on my needs list right now though.

I would really like to see Tajavis Miller take that role.

Tajavis is only 6'4" though, I'm talking like a 6'6"/6'7" true wing player. I do think Tajavis will start at the 3 and hopefully have a great season moving into a more prominent role but would be nice to have options.

Davey Boy signs Masen Miller, a shooting guard from Indiana St., who never saw the light of day on the team at Indiana St. and averaged 1.8 PPG last season.

Watch out boys, we are gonna be rocking with the 11th man from Indiana St!

Averaged a whopping 6 minutes a game in 2 years there.

    LFG!!!!

And yep, I'll wait for the "he can shoot the 3" comments.

Sure, he can...at a D2 school where it's easy to get open.
So, if he can be open all day in Dave's offense, then maybe a good pickup.

Is he used do doing the weave at the top of the arch for 20 seconds?
