I wonder if the Gophers will have any interest in Jacksen Moni.
They recruited another star player from Northern in
Parker Fox. He had to battle through injuries, but became a good rotation player for them this season.

Morgs now in the portal per Verbal Commits. Have heard he's getting offers of up to $100K for NIL, pretty hard to turn that down for one year of ball.

When they switched to a defense focused team in the 2nd half of the season they all of a sudden had the patented Bison long scoring droughts that are prevalent when you are more interested in running the clock to make your defense look better than take the best available shot as early in the shot clock as you possibly can.
I will say we need better players but to win in the tourney mid major teams usually shoot the three well. They don’t usually out athlete the big boys. Just like Oakland last night. Also LA and woodside were not big but they could shoot and drive. We need some better shooters especially in today’s day and age.

Long for the days of freezing in the south stands of Dacotah Field.

Good luck getting any level of NIL support for Richman's program, imo.

Morgan was a turnover and foul machine about 3 quarters the season...it is crazy how much a bench player is worth in the big conferences...easily 100k per player for bench guys.

Good luck to him. Not sure what the going rate is but he doesn't seem like he'd be much more than depth at a good mid-major or high major.

His defense was atrocious all year. Best of luck to him, I guess.
North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

Morgan leaving is not a good look, not a good look at all.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.

Utah St just won a first round tournament game and not a single guy who scored for them tonight was on their team last year. Working the transfer portal needs to be a way of life for almost any college basketball program these days (especially at the low major level) - you can't just have a developmental program unless you're ok with constantly developing players for other programs.

Will be interesting to see if Morgan lands at Minnesota.
They might need some post depth, but right now may be short on availability of schollies. So may need to wait for some of their own roster to hit the Portal.
