NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.
Transfers are a fact of life in college basketball especially at the low major level - on it's own it's not an indictment on coaching/leadership of the program. The disappointing season and lack of energy/excitement around the program is however (and probably contributes to the transfers). Given the results on the court this past season for NDSU MBB I don't think a roster house cleaning would be a bad thing - I'd like to see a new coaching staff with it but I won't hold my breath.
The issue is we have a mix of guys that should be transferring, just kind of fell out of the rotation or weren't a fit and then we have guys that were key cogs that lets face it aren't leaving for Alabama. Seems like they just want out and that is beyond troubling.

Offer Sem as we have spots open. Take a flyer on the kid.
If it flies it dies.
Long for the days of freezing in the south stands of Dacotah Field.
I told this story this weekend, but Bobby Bowden one of the best coaches ever talked about how he would take some players under his wings (think Randy Moss) that he believed he could have an impact on their lives if they came in and put in the work. He also indicated he knew if they were not in football they would be in gangs so he gave kids more chances than the public would have liked at times. Bring in Sem into a good culture (if it actually is a good culture) and make an impact on him.
