Didn't they just redo that rugby field a few years ago?

Yes. I spoke with the current club President on Saturday. They are very frustrated. I'm pretty sure NDSU paid for most of the upgrade, but the men's and women's club also did some private fundraising for the pitch and have also put a lot of hours of work into the field prep/maintenance.

I was out there a few hours ago. Pretty cool. I do think it had to go but the spaceship 60's vibe of the building was cool.
