Messingham was fine when he was here. Outside of NDSU (where he had a generational team + talent at QB), he hasn't had a ton of success. He's also 57 years old. I think better candidates are out there, one being in-house.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Beschorner get promoted, then bring a certain RB coach back that is currently at a different Valley school.

Or move Larson back to RB coach and hire a legit OL coach.
COACH BOHL: We have a great, rich tradition at North Dakota State. The school has won eight National Championships in football. And so we've got a lot of pride, not only with these guys ‑‑ and D.J. alluded to it ‑‑ Bison pride. That goes all the way back to the '60s, I believe 1965.

This is the way! Sammy would be an excellent addition to the staff!
This is not 'Nam. This is Bisonville. There are rules here.

I think that ship has sailed otherwise TP's guy at UND would already be in Fargo.

How does that make sense? Because he wasn't hired right away? Roehl left, there is going to be change now.

Larson could be a candidate for OC as well. He's been an OC at Macalester (D3) and UM-Duluth (D2) in the past.

I still don't understand the Messingham love. I'm sure he's a great guy, but he had a better athlete at every position when he was here. I'm sure it's real tough to just call any play.

Maybe go back and watch the games. The guy was really good at the way he attacked a defense. Fun offense to watch.
