• Joe Beschorner - D2 coordinator of the year in 2019 prior to NDSU. In five seasons at Mankato, he produced three of the top five offenses in MSU history. The 2019 team set single-season school records for points (712), rushing yards (4,216), rushing touchdowns (59) and total offense yards (7,766).
• Noah Pauley - 2016 at Duluth - directing a unit that rolled up the second-most yards (536.7 per game) and points (45.1) in school history. The Bulldogs led Division II in time of possession and ranked second in total offense.
• Outside Polasek connections?

I also would entertain new blood, someone outside of the NDSU arena, that can come and run our offense.

I'd definitely promote Beschorner. Guys proven to be a good OC at the D2 level.

Maybe Kole Heckendorf gets a call?

Yep. MSUM this past season was 562 pass plays and 205 run plays at 2.5 ypc.

Why? He was excellent. I have no idea if he has any connections to our new HC though.

I am sure Tim will get the guy he wants and am excited for a change.

You have to wonder if TP didn't already have an OC replacement in mind when he was offered the job and accepted...under the assumption that Roehl may not have wanted to stick around.
