At the FBS level, I think the bar should be lower (3 of 5?) just based on the excellence that requires.

I’m in agreement that if they get to the chipper one more time this coming season, they have a chance to say they are a dynasty (I don’t count the Covid season).

If, however, they get to the chipper this next year and lose to NDSU, wouldn’t it just be a continuation of our dynasty?…

…which begs the question: how big of a drought is needed for NDSU to have considered ending one dynasty and starting another?

I think we won't know the dynasty is over until a couple of years after it's over. If we go another couple of years without winning, then I think it ended with the loss to SDSU last January. If we win it again next year, then it hasn't ended yet.
